Presentation Anxiety
Last year in my perspectives class I had to do a presentation about what I think the United States military's role in a post cold war world is or should be. I was pretty unfamiliar with the topic, but had thought I learned enough during the semester. I prepared a pretty good powerpoint presentation and practiced my speech quite a few times. I really don't like giving speeches, so on the day of I was quite nervous. I stood behind a podium, so I was able to figit and whatnot, and it made me feel a little more comfortable. My speech ended up going very well, but I still get really nervous.
